About the position

To be considered for a position in this department, candidates would meet the following criteria:

Responsibilities and Duties

Daily duties include removing plaque from and polishing a patient's teeth during a routine checkup, screening patients, reviewing a patient's oral health history and teaching appropriate brushing and flossing techniques. They also use X-ray machines to take pictures of the teeth and develop the film for the dentist's analysis.

  • Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene required (Bachelor’s preferred)

  • Current state license required

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Dental Assistant also accepted

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Availability to work overtime, including weekends

  • Experience working with children preferred

  • Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules

  • Current CPR certification required

  • Job Type: Full-time
